Apply to FAU
Before you begin your application, use this guide to determine your admissions classification.
Freshmen/First-Year Students
Students who are in 12th grade and applying for admission immediately following high school graduation, or à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã who graduated high school and have not earned more than 12 college credits after graduation.
Transfer Students
Students who earned 12 or more college credits after high school graduation or completed an associate’s degree from a state or community college.
Returning FAU à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã.
Students pursuing a second bachelor’s degree.
Graduate Students
Students who received an undergraduate degree and are considering a master’s, doctoral, or specialist degree program.
Freshman Applications
Freshman à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã applying for Fall or Summer may apply to FAU through either our FAU Online Application or the Common Application. Spring applicants must use the If interested in the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, use the Wilkes Honors College Common App. Students should only submit one application for admission to FAU.
Your Application Process
- Complete and submit the online application and pay the non-refundable $30 application fee.
- Submit your Self-reported Student Academic Record.*
*If you have already graduated from high school and are applying to FAU as a first-year student, please submit official high school transcripts in lieu of STARS. - Self-report your SAT/ACT/CLT test scores. *Nursing applicants and applicants who have already graduated from high school must order official test scores to be sent directly from the testing agency to FAU.
